From Plymouth via the A38 Tamar Bridge

Follow the A38 signposted to Landrake and Tideford. At the Trerulefoot roundabout take the A374 towards Torpoint via Polbathic and carry on for about two miles until you see a signpost to Crafthole, Millbrook and Mt Edgcumbe. Take this road and follow it into Crafthole and turn left. Continue until you reach Tregantle Fort, then proceed as in ferry directions.

From Plymouth via the Torpoint Ferry

Take the A374 from Torpoint towards Antony. Take the left hand fork for Millbrook and Mt Edgcumbe. At the T-junction with Tregantle Fort in front of you, turn left. Take the second right for Whitsand Bay and Freathy, then follow the coast road to the end of the bay. The road bears sharply left here but in front of you there is a narrow road. Follow this road round and Rame Barton is on the right.
